with a range of other partners to ensure we
are a school at the heart of the community.
Accrington Academy
We are proud that we have a close working
relationship with our sister school, Accrington
Academy. This enables staff and students
to share resources, increase opportunities,
develop expertise and undertake experiences
that ensure we make Academy students’
education more fulfilling than we could alone.
Friends of the Academy
We know that we cannot achieve our
ambitions without the full support of the
local community and our parents. The Friends
of the Academy are a group of parents and
community members that actively support the
Academy in a wider range of ways. We hope
that by sending your son/daughter to the HYA
you feel that this is a group of people that
you could help to get involved with. Please
