We are incredibly proud to congratulate our Netball Team on their outstanding achievement at the United Learning Regional Netball Finals, where they secured an impressive third-place finish.
The tournament proved to be a tough and highly competitive event, with our team—made up of Year 8 and Year 9 students—competing against eight Year 10 teams from across the region. Despite facing older and more physically experienced opponents, our younger squad rose to the challenge with confidence and determination.
Throughout the competition, the team demonstrated exceptional teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. Their strong communication on court, disciplined defence, and positive attitude were evident in every match.
Netball coach Mrs Taylor praised the team’s performance, saying:
“I am incredibly proud of the girls. To compete against older teams and finish third is an amazing achievement. Their determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament were outstanding, and they represented the school brilliantly.”
Finishing third in such a competitive field is a fantastic accomplishment and a true testament to the players’ hard work, commitment, and positive attitude.
